Raid Wormhole, wormhole raids for Cobblemon, wiki

Configuration

Everything is in config/raidportals-common.toml. It is written the first time the game starts, with a comment on every line, and it is read again at the next start. A line you never changed keeps showing the default, and a line a new version adds is added for you.

This page lists every setting with its default. The part about dimensions and biomes is at the end.

[natural_spawn]

Setting Default What it does
check_interval_ticks 600 (from 20 to 72000) Ticks between two spawn rolls for each player
spawn_chance 0.005 (from 0.0 to 1.0) Chance (0 to 1) that a roll opens a portal near the player
player_cooldown_ticks 12000 (from 0 to 1728000) Minimum ticks between two natural portals for the same player
min_distance 8 (from 2 to 64) Minimum distance from the player
max_distance 32 (from 4 to 128) Maximum distance from the player
max_portals_per_player 1 (from 1 to 16) Maximum simultaneous natural portals near one player
max_portals_in_dimension 0 (from 0 to 1000) Maximum natural portals open at the same time in the whole dimension, whoever they were opened for. 0 means no limit
air_spawn_chance 0.6 (from 0.0 to 1.0) Part of the natural portals that open in the air instead of near the ground (0 for never, 1 for always). Not under a roof: the nether and the caves worlds like the Otherside have none
air_min_height 4 (from 1 to 64) Lowest height above the ground, in blocks, of a portal that opens in the air
air_max_height 24 (from 2 to 128) Highest height above the ground, in blocks, of a portal that opens in the air
tiers ["tier_one", "tier_two", "tier_three"] Raid tiers a natural portal can have: tier_one to tier_seven
natural_spawns [] Optional portal descriptions for natural portals, one is picked at random. Same words as the command: <pokemon|random> <tier|random> <color|auto> <attributes...>, for example "random 3 fire" or "arcanine 5 auto level=90 shiny=true". Empty means a fully random portal using the tiers above

[portal]

Setting Default What it does
lifetime_ticks 6000 (from 100 to 1728000) Default ticks before an unused portal fades away (a running raid keeps it open)
vary_color_by_tier_and_rarity true Portal color follows the raid type (one palette per Pokemon type). When true it is also nudged by the tier (higher is richer and brighter) and by how rare the Pokemon is (rarer is more golden and radiant)
allow_player_delete true Left click removes a portal
allow_in_raid_dimension false Allow opening a portal inside the raid dimension (command, trigger items and key items). Off by default, it causes bugs
enter_when_close true A player who gets close to a portal goes in, without having to click
enter_distance 1.5 (from 0.5 to 6.0) How close to the portal (in blocks, from the player to the center) a player has to be to go in. It grows a little with the size of the portal
notify_player true Tell the player when a portal opens nearby

[access]

Setting Default What it does
portal_access "claims" Who can use a portal that was opened on purpose (command, trigger item, key item). Natural portals are always for everybody. everyone: anybody. owner: only the player it was opened for. claims: that player plus the ones they set in FTB Teams (members and allies, FTB Chunks included), Open Parties and Claims (party members and allied parties) and Flan (when the portal stands in their claim and the claim lets a player interact with blocks). Those mods are not needed
ops_bypass true Operators can always use any portal

[items]

Setting Default What it does
trigger_items ["minecraft:nether_star \| random 5 auto shiny=true"] Items that open a portal on right click (one is used up, creative mode keeps it). Each entry is "<item or #tag> | <portal description>" with the same words as the command, for example "minecraft:ender_eye | random 3 auto" or "minecraft:nether_star | mewtwo 5 psychic level=100 shiny=true"

[myths_and_legends]

Setting Default What it does
enabled true When the mod Myths and Legends is installed, its key items (Tidal Bell, Eon Ticket, Reveal Glass...) open a legendary raid of the tier below with the Pokemon linked to the item, anywhere and in any biome. Nothing happens without that mod, it is not needed
tier "tier_seven" Tier of the raid opened by a key item, tier_one to tier_seven
consume_item true Use up one key item each time (creative mode keeps it)
announce "all" Who reads "A Legendary wormhole appeared" in the chat when a key item opens a portal: all (every player of the server), nearby (the players of the dimension), player (only the one who used the item) or none
lifetime_ticks 36000 (from 100 to 1728000) Ticks before an unused legendary portal fades away, longer than the usual portals (a running raid keeps it open)
cooldown_ticks 6000 (from 0 to 1728000) Minimum ticks between two raids opened with key items by the same player

[ultra_beasts]

Setting Default What it does
enabled true Natural portals can be Ultra Beast portals (Pokemon with the ultra_beast label, they are never part of an ordinary random draw). Needs no other mod
min_tier "tier_six" The lowest tier of a natural portal that can be an Ultra Beast one, tier_one to tier_seven. The tiers a dimension can draw are set in its natural_spawn part, so for example it has to list tier_six or tier_seven
locations ["minecraft:the_end \| 0.000001", "minecraft:deep_dark \| 0.00001", "deeperdarker:otherside \| 0.00001"] Where an Ultra Beast portal can open and the chance for it, one "<dimension or biome> | <chance>" per line. The chance is for each natural portal of a high enough tier, on top of the chance that a portal opens and that it has that tier. 0.000001 is 1 in a million, 1/100000 works too. Nowhere else than these places

[pokemon]

Setting Default What it does
allowed_pokemon [] Legendary, mythical, ultra beast and paradox Pokemon never come out of a random draw (natural portals, trigger items, "random" in the command). List here the ones that may, for example "mewtwo" or "cobblemon:rayquaza". Naming a Pokemon in the command always works
disabled_pokemon [] Pokemon that never come out of a random draw, whatever they are. When a Pokemon is in both lists, this one wins

Dimensions and biomes

Every dimension of the game, the ones of other mods included, gets its own section the first time a world starts:

[dimension."minecraft:the_nether"]
    #enabled = true
    #tiers = ["tier_two", "tier_three", "tier_four"]

Take the # off a line to change that setting for that dimension only. Everything of the natural_spawn section can be changed there: enabled, check_interval_ticks, spawn_chance, player_cooldown_ticks, min_distance, max_distance, max_portals_per_player, max_portals_in_dimension, air_spawn_chance, air_min_height, air_max_height, tiers and natural_spawns. What a dimension does not set comes from the natural_spawn section above.

Natural portals are on by default in the overworld and in the dimensions that come with their own tiers (see Natural portals). Any other dimension is off until you write enabled = true in its section.

A biome can have its own tiers whatever its dimension says. Add a section by hand:

[biome."minecraft:deep_dark"]
    tiers = ["tier_five", "tier_six", "tier_seven"]
